Creating an Account
-------------------

1. Go to http://bwrite.texta.ee/.

You should see a login window like this, where you can click on **register** in the upper right corner:

In case you don't see the login window, you can also click on **register** in the upper right corner of the screen.

2. The **Register** window should appear.

3. Insert your username, email and password, then click on **Register** in the lower right corner.

4. Your account is now created and you are now logged in. Now you should be able to see your username in the upper right corner.

   You can save your username and password in your browser’s memory.

Logging In
----------

1. Go to http://bwrite.texta.ee/.

If you are currently not logged in, you should see a login window like this:

2. Enter your username and password.

3. Then press **Login** in the lower right corner.

3. You are now successfully logged in.

You should be able to see your username in the upper right corner if you are logged in.

Change Password
---------------

To change your password, you must be logged in. If you are not logged in, check :ref:`Logging In`.

1. Click on your name in the upper right corner.

2. This opens up a drop-down menu with two options, **Settings** and **Log Out**. Click on **Settings**.

3. Two new options should appear on the page, an option to switch to Dark Mode on the right and the **Change Password** window to the left where you can enter and confirm a new password.

4. Enter and confirm your new password.
5. Click **Submit** to change your password.

Accessing Projects and Indices
------------------------------

Can't access the toolkit or some projects/indices?

1. Create an account if you already haven't.

2. To access projects and indices, ask someone who is a superuser (Djuddah Leijen, Helen Hint or someone else from the Bwrite project) to :ref:`expand your rights <User Access and Index Management>`.
